Lost Property explores the circular economy within photography, with an integrated focus on photographic archives. The work dismisses the notion that good photography is underpinned by technical elements that digital photography lends itself to. Rather, it is my belief that the future of photography relies on subversive and experimental image-making. My research into contemporary documentary photography suggests that photographers still seek to resolve the decisive moment, an idea that I believe holds little value in the future.
